Flash Hike: Bitcoin Cash surges by 6% in an hour following Bitcoin’s lead; BCH price touches $300-level

Every has tagged alongside Bitcoin for the it is undergoing and so has Bitcoin Cash, as the price of BCH surged by a massive 6% in an hour. Altcoins, at press time, were pumping but not as much as Bitcoin. However, Bitcoin Cash, the fourth largest cryptocurrency was nearing the $300-level.

As seen in the chart above, the reached as high as $305 on May 11, 5:32 UTC. The market cap also saw a drastic increase, i..e, it hit $5.36 billion.

The price of Bitcoin Cash increased by a massive 33.73% in only 11 days and the overall increase in the price of Bitcoin since 2019 is 108%, after reaching a peak of 142% on April 3, 2019. BCH’s price on April 3 hit $354, which was last seen in 2018.

The Bitcoin has spurred up the altcoins to undergo a rally of their own, which is causing the price to hit highs last seen about months ago.

Bitcoin Cash’s rival, was at the 13th rank and had surged by 0.66% in the last 24 hours and was only priced at $57 with a market cap of $1.02 billion.
